The view above is from Chris Busmann’s brilliant superimposition of the 17 wind factories onto a map of the area. You can find it here. I used an iPad to manoeuvre myself around the landscape, but it works well with a mouse on a PC. The website is here.
I was also speaking to a colleague just the other day and we were contemplating the idea of getting some kind of Augmented Reality representation of the wind factory built. This would superimpose the turbines onto a live image of the hill through a phone camera interface.
Here’s an example of augmented reality in my office; I did in 5 minutes with an iPhone App!!
